Project: Loyalty Management Card
Description: TAJ Group of hotels has launched its Loyalty Smart Card for Inner Circle and Epicure Loyalty Programs co-branded with Citibank Diners card. It is a Loyalty Card, which stores points on the card for the amount spent by the members at any of the TAJ Hotels in India. Whenever a customer spends money at TAJ hotels for food & beverages or hotel stay, he/she presents his/her card to the hotel staff while making the payments; the hotel staff tag the bills with the membership number of the member. This way later, points are calculated and stored in the central database of the TAJ hotels. The members can then update the points on the card from the central database at any of the 50 properties of TAJ group.
Features:

•  Points can be redeemed for gifts or can be used to pay the hotel bills.

•  It is a loyalty card and not an e-purse.

•  Points are calculated offline but redemption is taking place online.
