How do we work?
Our Values are extremely important to us and form the backbone of our vision and plans. We respect our employees deeply.
The respect for individuals drives other values in our organization. Respect for the individual, does not mean 'being nice'
or 'agreeing' on everything. By respect we mean the ability to listen, challenge, acknowledge, and confront every individual.
All this needs to be done in a manner that says -- we know you care, we know you have something valuable to contribute, and we
will listen, challenge, acknowledge and confront you, with respect and compassion. These values shape our thinking, our behaviour,
our culture, and how we come across to our customers, partners, and to the world at large.
We work in an open atmosphere. Other than the fact that we encourage calling everyone by first names, we have created an
atmosphere where fear at work is absent and hierarchy is respected for the value-add and not for the seniority. We are aware
that the seniors in our organisation are capable of committing errors and we acknowledge it if and when it happens. Everyone
is encouraged to ask questions and challenge norms. But openness does not, at SLC, mean casualness.
Our customers and their evaluation of us are crucial for us. We thus strive to understand their needs exhaustively so that the
requirements are effectively met with high quality.
