Our company was formed in November 2001 with state of the art
development Facility operational at New Delhi, India. SLC consists of like-minded and experienced software professionals drawn
out of large corporates like SIEMENS, Xerox, GE, IBM etc.
The first major project undertaken by SLC was the development and implementation of the Land Records Management System for
the Government of Madhya Pradesh, an eGovernance initiative. This system was developed in about seven months and is presently
implemented and running in about 45 district headquarters of Madhya Pradesh.
In 2002, we became a formal development partner of Axalto (then, Schlumberger Sema) and were instrumental in the development
and implementation of the Diners-Taj co-branded credit card that is smart card enabled. While customers use the magnetic stripe
for performing credit transactions, the Taj customers use the Smart card facility to earn and redeem loyalty points every time
they use a Taj Group of Hotels facility. This was followed by other smart card based projects.
SLC developed the security product called SmartSecure which enables a network administrator in a large IT setup manage access
rights of all the IT users in the organization.
We strengthened our foothold in the industry by developing various web applications and medium range business applications
for organizations such as Schlumberger Oilfields and Triune Projects Pvt. Ltd. In the same year, we setup a consulting project
for Siemens at Germany, which is still ongoing. We consult Siemens on various of their mobile applications. This lead to opening
up of our office at Munich in Germany.
We consolidated in the years 2003 and 2004. We did projects at South Africa, USA and Japan. We focused on growing our presence
in India and bagged prestigious orders from organizations like Reliance Petrochemicals, UNO, Pipava Rail Corporation, 2020 Media,
DLF Universal, to name a few. In these years we also ventured and gained expertise in the Telecom domain.
We also signed a Joint Venture with a Chinese giant and expect to expand our operations to China shortly.
The year 2005-6 will be a year of growth and expansion. We expect to grow from our present strength of 30 to about 80 people in
the current year. We will also be ISO certified before the year is over.
